🎓 Minimum Requirements
Essential
- Grade 12 / Matric
- Ability to communicate in English

🧹 Key Responsibilities
The Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining hygiene and cleanliness throughout the Head Office and communal areas.
Duties include:
- Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the Head Office.
- Developing cleaning routines to ensure all areas remain neat and hygienic.
- Cleaning and stocking the canteen and restrooms.
- Being available during operational hours to attend to cleaning requirements.
- Checking refuse before disposal to ensure no products or valuable goods are accidentally discarded.
- Vacuuming meeting and training rooms daily according to standard operating procedures.
- Vacuuming other carpeted areas on a weekly basis.
- Dusting desks, chairs, telephones, shelves, photocopiers and other office equipment.
- Following all relevant health and safety regulations.
- Keeping cleaning equipment and utensils safely stored when not in use.
- Displaying wet-floor signs when cleaning floors.
- Maintaining a friendly and professional attitude when dealing with customers and visitors.
- Assisting customers by directing them to the correct floor or person when required.
- Communicating clearly and professionally with staff and guests.
- Reporting minor problems to the team leader when necessary.
- Ensuring kitchens and bathrooms have sufficient cleaning and hygiene products.
- Reporting low or out-of-stock supplies to the team leader.
- Reporting faulty equipment and maintenance problems such as damaged doors, locks, taps, lights and switches.
