The successful candidates will report to the Warehouse Manager and assist with various warehouse, inventory, receiving, dispatch and housekeeping activities.
Duties and Responsibilities
Warehouse General Assistants will support the warehouse team with day-to-day stock-handling activities.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting Receiving Inspectors with outstanding DNU (Do Not Use) stock.
- Separating and identifying stock according to instructions.
- Physically checking stock quantities against relevant documentation.
- Assisting with matching Certificates of Conformance (C of C) to applicable parts.
- Identifying parts without the required C of C and referring them to the responsible person.
- Handling aircraft parts and other stock carefully to prevent damage, loss or incorrect allocation.
- Assisting the Dispatch team with organising and cleaning the mezzanine and designated warehouse areas.
- Moving and organising stock when required.
- Supporting general warehouse housekeeping.
- Assisting the Inventory team with physically moving stock.
- Packing stock into the correct racks and designated storage areas.
- Sorting and organising stock to support effective inventory management.
- Reporting damaged, incorrectly stored or visibly discrepant stock.
- Following warehouse, safety and stock-handling procedures.
- Using warehouse equipment and resources responsibly.
- Maintaining good housekeeping standards.
- Performing other reasonable warehouse-related duties as instructed by management.
Minimum Requirements
