Job Overview
Huntswood is looking for a passionate and customer-focused Customer Service Advisor – UK to join its fast-paced contact centre environment in Durban. This role is ideal for someone who loves travel, enjoys helping customers and has the confidence to become an expert in their field.
The successful candidate will handle customer enquiries across phone, live chat, social media and email, supporting customers throughout their entire journey — from searching for holidays through to post-travel follow-up.
You will be expected to deliver excellent service, resolve queries effectively, build strong customer relationships and contribute to sales results.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver world-class customer service across multiple communication channels.
- Aim for first-time resolution of customer queries.
- Support customers throughout their holiday journey.
- Handle enquiries via phone, live chat, social media and email.
- Build long-term customer relationships.
- Support sales and package sale conversions.
- Assist Customer Service Agents with customer service issues when required.
- Develop strong knowledge of products, processes and ways of working.
- Provide expert advice and resolve problems confidently.
- Identify opportunities to improve customer experiences and internal processes.
- Share knowledge and recommendations with colleagues.
- Multi-task effectively in a fast-paced and changing environment.

Requirements
Applicants should have:
- At least 6 months’ experience in a travel sales role.
- Experience working in a customer service environment.
- Strong IT skills and the ability to work across multiple systems.
