📌 OPPORTUNITY OVERVIEW

Bidvest Tank Terminals has an exciting 18-month Work Integrated Learning (WIL) opportunity available within its Training Department, based in Kempton Park, Gauteng.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Training Manager and will gain valuable practical workplace experience while developing the skills and knowledge required to successfully integrate into a professional working environment.

This opportunity is ideal for students who have completed the theoretical component of their Diploma and now require practical workplace experience in order to complete their qualification.


🎓 QUALIFICATIONS ACCEPTED

Applicants must have completed the theoretical training for a Diploma and require practical work experience in one of the following fields:

  • Human Resource Management
  • Business Administration
  • Environmental Management

Applicants must hold a Diploma or Advanced Certificate in one of the relevant fields.


✅ MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • No previous work experience is required.
  • Must be a South African citizen.
  • Must have a valid South African Identity Document.
  • Must have completed the theoretical component of the relevant Diploma.
  • Must require practical workplace experience to complete the qualification.
  • Must be available for the full 18-month WIL programme.
  • Must be willing to learn and develop practical workplace skills.
  • Must be able to work effectively in a professional environment.

🎯 PURPOSE OF THE PROGRAMME

The main purpose of the Work Integrated Learning programme is to provide students with meaningful exposure to the workplace and help them develop practical skills.

The programme aims to:

  • Provide participants with an understanding of the different departments within Bidvest Tank Terminals.
  • Give students valuable on-the-job work experience.
  • Provide practical training and exposure to workplace processes.
  • Develop practical skills that will assist students in transitioning into the workplace.
  • Help participants apply the theoretical knowledge gained through their studies in a real working environment.
  • Prepare students for future employment opportunities within their chosen fields.
