📌 JOB OVERVIEW
An opportunity is available for an Assistant General Worker in Gauteng. The successful candidate will provide general site assistance and support to site teams while ensuring that operational activities are carried out safely, efficiently and according to company procedures.

🛠️ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Collaborating with site teams to support the achievement of operational goals and targets.
- Assisting with daily inspections of the designated work area.
- Identifying and reporting any deviations, unsafe conditions or hazards.
- Supporting pipeline and valve operations under supervision.
- Assisting with identifying and resolving operational challenges.
- Escalating operational deviations or problems to the relevant site teams.
- Assisting with general site activities as assigned.
- Performing basic housekeeping duties in work areas.
- Keeping the workplace clean, organised and safe.
- Completing all assigned duties in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Following all safety rules, regulations and company procedures.
- Supporting the site team with other operational duties when required.
🎓 QUALIFICATION REQUIRED
Applicants must have:
- Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification.
💼 EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience.
- Previous experience in a site, operational, maintenance or general worker environment may be advantageous.
