RCL FOODS is looking for a reliable, safety-conscious and hardworking Receiving Clerk and Forklift Driver to join its team in Pretoria West, Gauteng.
The successful candidate will report to the Transport Controller and will play an important role in supporting the organisation’s operations, particularly with the handling and uploading of bagged products relating to the Beverages division.
This is a permanent employment opportunity suitable for an individual with a valid forklift licence, strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment.

🎓 MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Grade 12 / Matric qualification.
- A valid Forklift Licence.
- Computer literacy will be an advantage.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- High levels of honesty and integrity.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work shifts, overtime and public holidays when required.
- Sober habits and reliability.
- Good punctuality and attendance.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Knowledge of workplace safety rules.
- Knowledge of HACCP principles will be beneficial.
🛠️ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of receiving, stock handling and forklift-related duties, including:
- Conducting forklift safety checks before operating equipment.
- Reporting forklift faults and arranging gas replacement when required.
- Following all applicable safety and housekeeping procedures.
- Performing daily cycle counts and monthly stocktakes.
- Loading and offloading the correct products in the correct quantities for customers.
- Receiving crates and pallets.
- Supplying crates and pallets to the production department.
- Maintaining good housekeeping standards in the work area.
- Ensuring crates and pallets are stored in their designated areas at all times.
- Reporting any non-conformances or issues identified to the supervisor.
- Capturing received stock accurately on SAP and ensuring information is entered on time.
- Reconciling received stock with the Administration team.
- Supporting efficient movement and handling of products within the operation.
