Job Overview

Transnet Corporate Centre is inviting applications from qualifying University of Technology students for its Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Non-Technical Learner Programme based in Durban.

The programme is designed to provide students and recent graduates with valuable workplace experience that complements their academic studies. Over a period of 12 months, successful candidates will receive practical training, mentorship, and exposure to real business operations while working alongside experienced professionals.

This opportunity is ideal for students who have completed the theoretical component of their qualification and require Work Integrated Learning (In-Service Training) to complete their studies.


Minimum Requirements

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Grade 12 (Matric) Certificate
  • Completed all theoretical subjects in Information Technology at a University of Technology
  • South African citizen
  • Between 18 and 35 years of age
  • In-Service Training (WIL) letter from the institution
  • Certified copy of South African ID
  • Certified copy of Matric Certificate
  • Full academic record
  • No bursary obligation with another company

Key Responsibilities

Successful learners will be expected to:

Project and Operational Support

  • Assist with departmental projects and daily operational activities
