Minimum Requirements
To qualify for this position, applicants must have:
- Grade 12 (Matric).
- A minimum of 2 years’ supervisory experience in cleaning.
- Previous experience in a healthcare environment will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Understanding of Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) practices.
- Willingness to work extended or irregular hours when required.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Supervising daily cleaning operations at a healthcare facility.
- Ensuring all hygiene standards meet healthcare infection control requirements.
- Conducting regular inspections to monitor cleaning quality.
- Enforcing approved cleaning methods and infection prevention procedures.
- Coordinating and supervising cleaning staff.
- Maintaining cleaning schedules, reports, and incident records.
- Training employees on cleaning procedures and Tsebo operational standards.
- Responding to client concerns and escalating issues where necessary.
- Ensuring compliance with site Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Promoting a clean, safe, and patient-friendly healthcare environment.
