The Road Accident Fund (RAF) is inviting applications from unemployed South African graduates for its Quality Assurance Internship Programme. Purpose of the Internship

The Road Accident Fund is committed to developing young graduates by providing valuable workplace exposure and practical experience. This internship is designed for unemployed graduates between the ages of 18 and 23 years who have never participated in an internship programme before. The programme will equip successful applicants with practical knowledge in quality assurance, claims administration, and office support within one of South Africa’s leading public entities.


Key Responsibilities

Successful interns will be expected to:

  • Perform general office administration duties.
  • Maintain and manage documents and records.
  • Handle customer queries and complaints.
  • Review claims to ensure compliance with the RAF Act and internal policies.
  • Create, update, and maintain spreadsheets.
  • Develop templates and quality assurance checklists.
  • Identify, report, and monitor quality-related issues.
  • Analyse trends for accuracy and relevance.
  • Follow up on corrective action plans.
  • Compile and prepare monthly reports.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide administrative support to the Quality Assurance team.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must have:

  • Grade 12 (Matric).
  • Diploma or Degree in:
    • Law or related qualification; or
    • Business Administration/Business Management.
  • A qualification in Quality Management will be an added advantage.
  • Certified copy of South African ID.
  • Certified copy of Matric certificate.
  • Certified academic transcript.
  • Updated Curriculum Vitae (CV).
  • Motivational letter.
