Job Overview
Hollywoodbets is looking for an energetic and customer-focused Promotional Driver to join its Mobile Department in Durban. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy driving, interacting with people, and representing a well-known South African brand at promotional events and roadshows.
As a Promotional Driver, you will be responsible for driving and coordinating the Hollywoodbets promotional bus while supporting marketing campaigns designed to increase brand awareness, attract new customers, and grow the business. You will engage directly with members of the public at events, assist with promotional activities, and work closely with Mobile and Retail teams to ensure every campaign runs successfully.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for the care, maintenance, and roadworthiness of the promotional vehicle and all equipment assigned to it. This includes ensuring that the vehicle is clean, safe, and fully operational before every trip while following all company safety procedures.

Minimum Requirements
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
- Grade 12 (Matric).
- Valid driver’s licence.
- Post-Matric qualification.
- Previous experience working as a promoter.
- Proven ability to meet promotional or sales targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage with different personalities.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours when required.
Key Responsibilities
As a Promotional Driver, your responsibilities will include:
- Drive and coordinate the Hollywoodbets promotional bus.
- Represent the Hollywoodbets brand at promotions, activations, and events.
- Engage with customers and promote company products and services.
- Assist with planning promotional campaigns alongside Team Leaders, Area Managers, and Retail Managers.
- Identify customer needs and recommend suitable promotional strategies.
- Build relationships with potential and existing customers.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
- Take full responsibility for the allocated promotional vehicle.
- Ensure all equipment, including branding, sound systems, screens, and gaming equipment, is protected and maintained.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Report vehicle defects and maintenance issues immediately.
- Ensure the vehicle remains clean, presentable, and roadworthy at all times.
- Drive only on authorised routes while following all road safety regulations.
- Support the Mobile Department with additional operational duties when required.
