Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent qualification.
- Qualification and/or experience in Cosmetology or another beauty-related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in a beauty sales environment.
- Strong knowledge of beauty brands, skincare and cosmetic products.
- Passion for retail, sales and customer service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to influence and advise customers confidently.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Self-motivated, proactive and results-driven.
- Well-groomed appearance with appropriate use of cosmetics.
- Willingness to work flexible retail shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
Key Responsibilities
As a Store Specialist: Beauty, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing professional beauty consultations and product recommendations.
- Delivering exceptional customer service to create an outstanding shopping experience.
- Achieving sales targets by promoting Clinique and Woolworths Beauty products.
- Keeping up to date with the latest beauty products, trends and promotions.
- Maintaining stock levels and ensuring shelves are fully merchandised.
- Ensuring testers, displays and work areas remain clean, hygienic and visually appealing.
- Processing customer purchases accurately while following company procedures.
- Supporting promotional events and product launches.
- Reducing stock losses by following shrinkage control procedures.
- Working closely with colleagues to achieve departmental goals.
- Maintaining a professional appearance that reflects the Woolworths brand.
