Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing excellent customer service at all times.
- Assisting customers with their orders professionally and courteously.
- Receiving customer payments accurately.
- Preparing menu items according to company Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Ensuring quality products are prepared and served consistently.
- Maintaining speed of service during busy trading periods.
- Keeping the cashier area clean and organised.
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards according to SOP.
- Following food safety procedures and company policies.
- Assisting with general restaurant duties when required.
- Working effectively as part of the restaurant team.
- Ensuring customers have a positive dining experience.
- Supporting daily operational requirements of the store.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
- National Senior Certificate (Grade 12).
- Minimum of 1 year restaurant or fast-food service experience.
- Customer service experience.
- Good verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays if required.
