Job Overview
DHL Supply Chain is currently recruiting two Forklift / DCB Drivers to join its warehouse operations at Ndlovu Park, Pietermaritzburg. The successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining stock levels by replenishing inventory in picking, intermediate, A-frame, and bulk storage locations according to system-generated instructions and established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Employees will use warehouse scanners to ensure inventory movements are accurately recorded while meeting daily operational targets.
In addition to operating forklifts safely, successful applicants will be expected to carry out daily equipment inspections, complete required documentation, maintain housekeeping standards, and comply with all company health and safety regulations. The role requires individuals who can work under pressure, pay close attention to detail, and contribute positively to warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidates will be responsible for:
- Operating a forklift safely and efficiently throughout each shift.
- Replenishing stock in pick locations and bulk storage areas.
- Maintaining stock levels according to warehouse requirements.
- Following system-generated picking and replenishment instructions.
- Operating warehouse scanners accurately during stock movements.
- Ensuring all scanning activities are completed in the correct sequence.
- Conducting forklift inspections at the beginning of every shift.
- Completing Motorised Equipment Checklists and Damage Control Forms accurately.
- Maintaining excellent housekeeping standards within the work area.
- Following all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Adhering to DHL’s disciplinary policies and Code of Conduct.
- Complying with all workplace health and safety regulations.
- Reporting equipment faults, damages, or safety concerns immediately.
- Meeting daily productivity and operational performance targets.
- Performing additional reasonable duties assigned by supervisors when required.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
- Grade 12 (Matric).
- Minimum of 2 years’ previous working experience.
- Accredited Forklift Driver’s Licence.
- WMOS experience and knowledge.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (spoken and written).
- Physically fit and able to work within a warehouse environment.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and operational procedures.
