Position Summary
Are you a recent graduate looking to kickstart your career with South Africa’s leading pharmaceutical wholesaler? United Pharmaceutical Distributors (UPD), a division of the Clicks Group, is inviting ambitious, unemployed graduates to apply for their 12-Month W&R SETA Graduate Programme 2026/2027.
Based at the Lea Glen & Rand Leases branches in Roodepoort, Johannesburg, this structured programme provides hands-on work experience across key operational and administrative departments. Trainees will work directly under the mentorship of departmental managers, gaining invaluable exposure to dynamic supply chain, finance, HR, and infrastructure workflows within the FMCG and healthcare sectors.
Key Programme Streams & Eligible Qualifications
This programme is open to graduates aged 18 to 35 years who hold completed Degrees or Diplomas in the following fields:
1. Operations & Supply Chain
- Degrees: BCom in Supply Chain Management, Bachelor of Logistics, BBA in Logistics, BCom in Operations Management, Warehouse Management Degree.
2. Finance
- Degrees: Bachelor of Commerce (Finance), BCom Financial Management, Bachelor of Accounting, BCom Economics.
- Diplomas: Diploma in Financial Management, Diploma in Accounting, Diploma in Cost & Management Accounting, Diploma in Internal Auditing, Diploma in Banking.
3. Human Resources, Learning & Development
- Diplomas: Diploma in Human Resource Management (HR / Training / L&D).
4. Key Accounts Management
- Diplomas: Diploma in Marketing Management, Diploma in Business Management, Diploma in Sales Management, Diploma in Retail Business Management.
5. Infrastructure
- Diplomas: Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Infrastructure Management.
Minimum Requirements
- Education: Matric / Grade 12 AND a fully completed relevant Degree or Diploma from a recognized institution.
- Age Limit: Applicants must be between 18 and 35 years old.
- Work Experience: Must have NO prior work experience and currently be unemployed.
- Skills & Attributes: Strong willingness to learn, high attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
