Position Summary
Are you a skilled reach truck operator seeking a stable, permanent opportunity with a leading South African brand? Clover is looking for a qualified High Rise Stacker Driver to join their Production Warehouse team in Queensburgh, KwaZulu-Natal.
In this operational role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement, placement, and retrieval of palletized stock across elevated warehouse racking. Working in a fast-paced environment, you will operate reach trucks, utilize handheld scanners for inventory management, conduct routine safety inspections, and maintain strict adherence to health, safety, and quality standards. Key Responsibilities & Duties
High Rise Stacker & Material Handling Operations
Stock & Pallet Movement: Safely operate a high-rise stacker/reach truck to transfer pallets of stock between shelving, storage racks, and designated loading bays.
Pre- & Post-Shift Inspections: Thoroughly inspect the reach truck when signing in and out, ensuring the machinery is in sound working order.
Defect & Damage Reporting: Immediately report any equipment defects, stock damage, or facility irregularities to supervisor staff.
Warehouse Inventory & Scanning Management
Scanner Operations: Receive, process, and action daily stock movement tasks efficiently using handheld scanning devices.
Labeling & Verification: Print Pallet Control Labels (PCL) and affix unique identification stickers accurately onto processed pallets.
Safety & Compliance: Adhere strictly to warehouse safety protocols, traffic guidelines, and operational procedures at all times.
Qualifications & Minimum Requirements
Education: Grade 12 / Matric or equivalent NQF Level 4 qualification.
Licensing: Recognized, valid operator license for high rise stacker / reach truck.
Assessment: Must successfully pass a diagnostic competency assessment.
Language Proficiency: Fluent in business English (both spoken and written).
Working Conditions: Willing and able to work in extreme conditions (e.g., cold storage environments) and perform shift work, weekends, and public holidays.
