Purpose of the Role
The Clinics Administrator will provide administrative support to the onsite clinic and assist the Clinic Nurse in ensuring the smooth daily operation of healthcare services.
The role supports Primary Healthcare Services, Occupational Health Services, or a combination of both.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments.
- Keep medical records updated, organised and securely stored.
- Manage the clinic reception and waiting area.
- Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare professionals and external stakeholders.
- Monitor clinic stock levels and arrange procurement of medical supplies and consumables.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare policies, procedures and regulations.
- Provide administrative support to medical personnel.
- Assist patients with enquiries and resolve complaints professionally.
- Compile and submit reports to management.
- Order office stationery and administrative supplies.
- Coordinate maintenance, repairs and calibration of clinical equipment.
- Arrange the safe collection and disposal of medical waste.
- Support administration relating to incapacity cases, case management and return-to-work programmes.

Minimum Requirements
Applicants should have:
- Grade 12 (Matric).
- At least 1 year of administrative experience.
- Good computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong organisational and administrative abilities.
