About the Role
Motus Aftermarket Parts is looking for a reliable and experienced Driver to join the Afinta Pinetown team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods to customers while ensuring all company delivery procedures, vehicle inspections, and documentation requirements are followed.
This role is ideal for a responsible individual with excellent driving skills, strong time management, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Grade 12 (Matric).
- At least 3 years’ delivery driving experience.
- A valid driver’s licence with a Professional Driving Permit (PDP).
- Good time management skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Honest and trustworthy character.
- Sober habits.
- Clear criminal record.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Conducting vehicle inspections before departure and upon return.
- Reporting any vehicle faults before leaving the premises.
- Completing and submitting vehicle inspection checklists.
- Loading parcels according to company dispatch procedures.
- Delivering goods safely to customers on assigned routes.
- Ensuring customers sign the required Proof of Delivery (POD) documents.
- Following all Return for Credit (RFC) procedures.
- Delivering allocated documents and collection slips.
- Returning completed trip sheets and delivery documentation.
- Taking responsibility for outstanding trip sheets and delivery records.
- Ensuring no unauthorised stock transfers between customer stores.
- Keeping the company vehicle clean and well maintained.
- Reporting delivery challenges and vehicle issues to the Dispatch Supervisor.
- Following all company policies and operational procedures.
