Job Overview
Hestony Transport is inviting experienced Code 14 Drivers to apply through its weekly walk-in and online recruitment process. Applications and driver testing take place every Monday at the Hestony depot in Bloemfontein.
This opportunity is strictly for qualified Code 14 drivers with proven heavy vehicle driving experience. Applicants must have held their Code 14 licence for at least two years and possess a valid PDP. Candidates should be safety-conscious, reliable, and experienced in operating heavy trucks.
Key Responsibilities
Successful candidates will be responsible for:
- Operating heavy-duty trucks safely and responsibly.
- Transporting goods according to company schedules.
- Conducting vehicle inspections before and after trips.
- Complying with all road safety and traffic regulations.
- Completing required transport documentation.
- Maintaining professional conduct while representing the company.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:
- A valid Code 14 driver’s licence (minimum 2 years old).
- A valid PDP with at least 3 months’ validity remaining.
- At least 2 years’ experience driving an 8-ton truck or larger.
- Be between 25 and 65 years of age.
- A valid South African ID or valid temporary ID.
- Original driver’s licence or valid temporary licence.
- Contactable references (references will be verified).

Applicants should arrive with all required original documents and be prepared to complete driver testing.
