The successful applicant will operate a Hino delivery truck safely and responsibly, ensuring that all deliveries are completed according to schedule. A key part of the role involves ensuring that bread products are transported under suitable conditions to preserve product quality throughout the delivery process. Drivers are expected to verify delivery loads, ensure products are loaded securely before departure, and confirm that deliveries match the required documentation before leaving the depot.
You will also communicate regularly with dispatch teams, depot staff, and other operational personnel to ensure deliveries run smoothly and any challenges are reported promptly. Professional customer service is important, as drivers often represent the Tiger Brands business when interacting with depot personnel during deliveries.
