Motus Aftermarket Parts is inviting applications for a General Worker to join its Midas branch in Boksburg. The successful candidate will support the day-to-day warehouse operations by ensuring stock is received, stored, picked, and managed accurately while maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

The role is ideal for someone who enjoys practical work, pays close attention to detail, and can perform well in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with the warehouse team to ensure customer orders are processed efficiently and inventory is handled according to company procedures.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Grade 12 (Matric) certificate.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Honest, trustworthy, and able to demonstrate integrity.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Willingness to follow instructions and work as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

As a General Worker, your daily responsibilities will include:

Receiving and Binning Stock

  • Receive and inspect incoming stock according to company standards.
  • Allocate products to the correct warehouse bin locations.
  • Replenish stock from bulk storage to picking locations.
  • Report new bin allocations to your supervisor for system updates.
  • Ensure stock is stored neatly and safely.

Picking and Order Preparation

  • Pick customer and branch orders accurately and on time.
  • Use alternative bulk locations only when necessary.
  • Follow company procedures to reduce stock errors and product damage.
  • Assist with stock counts and inventory control.
  • Perform daily housekeeping duties within the warehouse.
  • Carry out quality checks before orders are dispatched.
  • Help achieve daily operational targets.

Scanner Management

  • Issue scanners to warehouse operators every day.
  • Record scanner allocations on the electronic application.
  • Receive and inspect scanners after use.
  • Report damaged scanners to the supervisor.
  • Complete the daily scanner issue register accurately.
