Job Purpose

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Process customer orders quickly and accurately.
- Receive and process cash, debit card, credit card, and digital payments.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently.
- Troubleshoot minor POS system issues when necessary.
- Issue receipts and process refunds or product exchanges according to company procedures.
- Promote current specials, promotions, and new products to customers.
- Upsell products to increase sales while enhancing the customer experience.
- Manage customer queues efficiently to reduce waiting times.
- Respond professionally to customer enquiries and resolve basic complaints.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming front-counter area.
- Balance the cash drawer at the end of each shift.
- Prepare and submit accurate end-of-shift cash reports.
- Protect company assets by following cash-handling procedures and preventing losses.
- Follow company policies, health and safety regulations, and operational procedures at all times.
- Work closely with fellow team members to ensure smooth daily store operations.
