TWK Agri is looking for a dedicated and customer-focused Cashier to join its Trade Division in Vryheid. This opportunity is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with people, have strong numerical skills, and are committed to providing excellent customer service in a retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Process customer payments accurately using cash, card, and other payment methods.
- Count and balance cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Issue receipts, refunds, credits, and the correct change to customers.
- Greet customers professionally and provide friendly assistance.
- Compute and record transactions accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient checkout area.
- Bag, box, wrap, and prepare merchandise for customers.
- Stock shelves and ensure products are correctly priced.
- Assist with stock takes and inventory control.
- Sort, count, and wrap notes and coins.
- Work as part of a team to ensure smooth store operations.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric).
- Computer literacy.
- Previous cashier experience will be an advantage.
- Ability to handle cash accurately and responsibly.
- Good customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
