Tiger Brands is recruiting for a Filler Packer at its Isando, Gauteng manufacturing site. The successful candidate will support the processing and packaging of products while ensuring that all activities are carried out according to Tiger Brands’ Manufacturing Excellence Continuous Performance (MECP) framework, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and quality standards.

About the Role
The Filler Packer is responsible for performing a variety of basic manual tasks involved in the production and packaging process. The role focuses on ensuring products are packaged correctly, quality standards are maintained, hygiene requirements are met, and production equipment operates efficiently.
This position plays an important role in supporting daily manufacturing operations while maintaining food safety and workplace safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Successful candidates will perform duties including:
Production and Packaging
- Operate and assist with packaging equipment.
- Perform mixing, proving, slicing, labelling, and case sealing activities.
- Assist with palletising and depalletising products.
- Carry out repetitive production tasks according to established procedures.
- Ensure products are processed within specified quality standards.
Quality and Compliance
- Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Complete operational records and production documentation accurately.
- Conduct quality control and quality assurance activities.
- Report any non-conformances immediately.
- Apply Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) at all times.
Health, Safety and Hygiene
- Comply with Health and Safety regulations.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness on equipment and within the work area.
- Use cleaning materials correctly.
- Ensure hygiene standards are consistently maintained.
- Support food safety requirements throughout production.
Continuous Improvement
- Participate in Invocoms sessions.
- Contribute to Manufacturing Excellence Continuous Performance (MECP) initiatives.
- Support the 20 Keys continuous improvement programme.
- Identify improvement opportunities through the SGA process.
- Assist in achieving production Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Matric (Grade 12)

- Physical Science
