Overview
Prisma Training Solutions, in partnership with the Energy and Water Sector Education and Training Authority (EWSETA) and Rustenburg Local Municipality, invites unemployed South African youth to apply for the General Technical Practice Learnership 2026.
This entry-level learnership provides practical workplace experience together with accredited theoretical training, leading to a nationally recognised qualification in General Technical Practice. It is an excellent opportunity for young people interested in building a career within the technical, energy, or water sectors.
Learnership Qualification
Successful candidates will complete the:
- General Education and Training Certificate: General Technical Practice
- SAQA ID: 49753
- NQF Level: 1
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be a South African citizen.
- Be unemployed.
- Be between 18 and 34 years old.
- Reside within the Rustenburg Local Municipality.
- Have completed Grade 10.
- Have Mathematical Literacy (ABET Level 3).
- Have Communication (ABET Level 3).
- Be interested in technical skills development and workplace learning.
Preference will be given to applicants from:
- Phokeng
- Paardekraal
- Sunrise Park
- Boitekong
- Meriting
