Job Purpose
The General Worker provides essential operational support by carrying out a variety of manual and routine warehouse tasks that contribute to the efficient day-to-day running of the operation.
The successful candidate will assist with receiving goods, pallet handling, stock preparation, housekeeping, and other operational duties while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
As a General Worker, your duties will include:
- Receive daily work instructions from the Warehouse Supervisor.
- Offload trucks according to operational requirements.
- De-stack pallets to ensure correct pallet configuration.
- Verify pallet quantities during the offloading process.
- Stack pallets according to the correct batch codes and expiry dates.
- Identify damaged products and immediately report them to the Inbound Checker.
- Ensure all hand-built stock is properly shrink-wrapped.
- Maintain excellent housekeeping standards throughout the warehouse.
- Assist other operational areas whenever required.
- Support the warehouse team in achieving daily operational targets.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and company policies at all times.
Minimum Requirements
