About the Role
The Groups Agent is responsible for coordinating and managing group travel bookings while providing outstanding customer service to clients. The successful candidate will communicate with passengers through calls, emails, and other channels, assisting with bookings, quotations, payment verification, booking amendments, and travel enquiries.
This position requires someone who is organised, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced customer service environment.
Key Responsibilities
As a Groups Agent, your duties will include:
- Booking and coordinating group travel reservations.
- Responding to customer enquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels.
- Assisting passengers with booking changes and travel requests.
- Providing information on FlySafair products and services.
- Assisting passengers with lost property enquiries.
- Supporting customers with special travel requirements.
- Creating new bookings and processing booking amendments.
- Verifying client payments.
- Capturing passenger information accurately.
- Preparing and following up on group quotations.
- Guiding clients throughout the booking process.
- Building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
- Reporting recurring customer issues to management.
- Delivering exceptional customer service at all times.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants should have:
- Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent (essential).
- Previous call centre experience (preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Willingness to work overtime when required.
- Ability to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays where necessary.
- Good knowledge of FlySafair products and services (or willingness to learn).
