Choosing a career after school can be challenging. Deloitte’s Job Shadowing Programme is designed to help learners discover career paths within the financial services and consulting industry.

Selected learners will spend the day interacting with Deloitte professionals, learning about different business divisions, and gaining insight into how mathematics, technology, data, business strategy, and investigative skills are applied in real-world organisations.

Participants will also experience a professional corporate environment and engage with experts working across various specialist fields.

Who Should Apply?

Deloitte is looking for exceptional Grade 11 and Grade 12 learners who:

  • Are currently in Grade 11 or Grade 12.
  • Study Pure Mathematics.
  • Have a strong interest in mathematics and analytical thinking.
  • Want to explore careers in business, finance, technology, risk, law, or data science.
  • Are eager to experience the corporate workplace.
Minimum Requirements

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Grade 11 or Grade 12 learner.
  • Pure Mathematics as a school subject.
  • Minimum APS score of 30 (excluding Life Orientation).
  • Submit their latest two academic results.
  • Attend the event in full school uniform if selected.

Applicants must upload either:

  • An updated CV, or
  • An elevator pitch of no more than 250 words.

The submission should include:

  • Full name and surname.
  • A short introduction about yourself.
  • The school you attend.
  • Your hobbies and interests.
  • The type of business problems you would like to solve.
