📝 Key Responsibilities

Participants in the programme will:

    • Assist in daily store operations, including customer service, merchandising, and stock management.
    • Learn the operational workflow of a retail store, including sales processes and stock handling.
    • Gain hands-on experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems and retail equipment.
  2. Customer Service:
    • Provide courteous, professional, and efficient service to all customers.
    • Handle customer queries, complaints, and requests in a friendly and professional manner.
    • Ensure customers receive assistance promptly and positively represent Clicks’ service standards.
  3. Skills Development:

    • Apply theoretical knowledge in practical retail environments under supervision.

To qualify for the Clicks Youth Employment Programme, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Citizenship: Must be a South African citizen.
  • Age: Between 18 and 29 years old.
  • Education: Must have successfully completed Matric (Grade 12).
  • Employment Status: Must be currently unemployed.
  • Skills & Attributes:

  • Programme Participation: Must not be currently registered in another Learnership or Skills Programme.
