Introduction
Adcock Ingram Healthcare is inviting applications from 30 suitably qualified learners to participate in a 12-month learnership programme. This opportunity is designed to provide meaningful workplace exposure and skills development within a professional healthcare and corporate environment.
The learnership will place successful candidates at various Adcock Ingram sites, where they will gain practical experience aligned with their qualifications and career interests.
Job Purpose
The purpose of the programme is to equip learners with relevant workplace experience, practical skills, and professional exposure that will enhance their employability and career development.
Key Responsibilities
Learners will be exposed to structured workplace learning and may be required to:
- Participate actively in day-to-day workplace activities
- Complete assigned tasks and projects aligned with the learnership objectives
- Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors
- Apply basic computer and administrative skills where required
- Communicate effectively within a professional environment
- Meet performance, learning, and reporting requirements of the programme
Specific duties may vary depending on the placement area and business needs.
Core Competencies
The ideal candidate should demonstrate the following:
- Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office package)
- Good interpersonal skills and a self-driven approach
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good organisational and time-management skills
- Attention to detail and willingness to learn
Experience in web design and content production will be considered an added advantage, where relevant.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet all of the following criteria:
- Be between 18 and 35 years of age
- Have a Matric (Grade 12) qualification
- Any additional degree or certificate will be considered an advantage

- Certified copy of Matric certificate and/or additional qualifications
