🌍 About the Role
A vacancy currently exists at TALA for a Learner Development Administrator (LDA) to join our Learner Support Centre (LSC) team based in Sandton. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing administrative and operational support to ensure the smooth functioning of the Academy’s learning and development activities.
TALA delivers comprehensive training to our dealer network, supporting growth, compliance, and professional excellence. The Learner Support Centre is central to ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and best practice standards. As an LDA, you’ll perform essential administrative functions in line with our Quality Management System (QMS) and contribute to the overall success of the Academy’s projects and initiatives.

🎯 Key Performance Areas
1. Administration
- Update and maintain QMS documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Support commercial and operational activities.
- Prepare and maintain reports related to learner progress, attendance, and compliance.
- Manage accurate record-keeping and information storage systems.
- Perform Learner Management System (LMS) administration, including building course prospectuses, activating learners, maintaining learner diaries, processing billing, and managing event calendars.
- Assist with the distribution of training inventory across BNLE countries.
- Maintain and update internal databases to ensure data integrity and availability.
2. Customer Service
- Act as a liaison for customer service queries and provide prompt feedback and resolution.
- Communicate effectively with learners, trainers, and internal departments.
- Manage relationships with external service providers, ensuring adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Provide professional and courteous assistance to all stakeholders, reflecting TALA’s values and commitment to excellence.
3. Events Coordination and Facilities
- Support project planning and execution related to training and learner events.
- Track progress and provide feedback on project deliverables.
- Participate in PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) continuous improvement activities.
- Develop and maintain SOPs for facilities management to ensure smooth event coordination.
- Assist in the logistical setup and post-event evaluation of Academy training sessions.
📚 Qualifications and Experience
Minimum Qualification:
- NQF Level 5 qualification (240 credits or above) in Education, Training and Development (ETD) or a related field.
Knowledge and Experience:
- Solid background in training administration or a shared services environment.
- Understanding of ETD legislation, policies, and compliance frameworks.
- Familiarity with TALA and TSAM policies and procedures will be an advantage.
- Prior experience in a customer service or learner support role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel), MS Projects, and SAP/SAP Concur systems.
