π§Ύ Job Summary
The Clerk (Admin) will play an important role in providing administrative and operational support to ensure efficient daily business processes.
This role involves processing purchase orders and invoices, managing stock receiving and banking, and ensuring accurate sales reconciliations. The successful candidate will also assist with reporting, data capturing, and general office duties that contribute to the smooth running of the branch.
Youβll work closely with management, retail staff, and finance teams to ensure that all administrative functions are completed accurately and in compliance with company policies and audit requirements.
π― Key Responsibilities and Duties
As a Clerk (Admin) at TWK Agri, your responsibilities will include:
1. Financial and Administrative Processing
- Process purchase orders, invoices, and receipts in line with company procedures.
- Ensure all banking, cash-ups, and reconciliations are completed accurately and on time.
- Manage petty cash transactions and maintain accurate records.
- Assist with the preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly reports for management review.
2. Stock Control and Record Management
- Receive and verify incoming stock deliveries.
- Record and track inventory movements to ensure data accuracy.
- Report stock discrepancies to relevant departments.
3. Office Administration
- Perform data capturing and filing to support operational and compliance requirements.
- Maintain an organized record system to facilitate efficient audits.
- Support the team with general office and clerical duties such as printing, correspondence, and scheduling.
4. Customer and Staff Support
- Oversee cashier operations when required.
- Provide assistance to customers and colleagues in a professional, friendly manner.

π Minimum Qualifications and Skills
Education:
- Matric / Grade 12 (essential)
Experience:
- Prior experience in an administrative or clerical role will be advantageous.
- Experience in retail, agriculture, or trade environments will be an added benefit.
Skills and Competencies:
- Computer literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong administrative and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
